Nev Staple back in the City
On Saturday at 2.00pm Specials front man Neville Staple will be in Coventry officially opening the new Vans Shoe shop in the Burgess and he will be signing copies of his superb bestselling book “Original Rudeboy”.
Nev has just finished the second leg of the sold out Specials 30th Anniversary tour, that saw the band in dynamic form, with the influential Word magazine declaring it, “The triumphant comeback of the year”. The Specials recently picked up the inspiration award at the Q Awards, and their musical and political legacy is being honoured in their home city this year with a series of historic 2-Tone plaques.
