Leamington Draw At Altrincham In FA Trophy

Leamington FC earned a replay in the FA Trophy after a 1-1 draw at Altrincham, who are two divisions higher.

In a re-arranged tie at Moss Lane, the Brakes has plenty of chances but went a goal down in the 70th minute when Tony Breeden in the Leamington goal made a save to deny Michael Rankine, but could not hold the ball and it fell to Damian Reeves who slammed home.

Six minutes later and substitute Rob Ogleby, who had just come on, race onto a long clearance from Breeden and equalised to earn a replay on Tuesday 22nd December for the right to play Bognor Regis Town in the next round.
