As usual, there are some fascinating ties in both the Extra Preliminary and Preliminary rounds. There are 5 all MFL Premier Division ties with only one tie pitting Division 1 against Premier Division but what a tie that is. AFC Hinckley at home to Heanor Town, two high flyers in their respective divisions last season.
In the Preliminary round, there is one stand out tie which could see last season’s top two in the MFL go head to head at Edgar Street providing Alvechurch can get past Haughmond. There was a sense of inevitability that Hereford would be paired with one of our sides and the chance to continue the great rivalry with Alvechurch which grew last season. Elsewhere, there are some giant killing opportunities for the likes of Sporting Khalsa and Loughborough University.
