Coventry City's legendary ex-captain Brian Kilcline is among a group of veteran footballers taking part in the PFA South Africa Challenge 2009 in aid of Children Today.

This is your chance to join this football hero and go head to head in a series of amazing challenges to take home the cup and be crowned the winners of the PFA South Africa Challenge 2009. Also taking part with this formidable ex-player is Neville Southall (ex-Everton), Bob Boulder (ex-Liverpool), Simon Garner (ex-Blackburn Rovers), Peter Nicholson (ex-Bolton Wanderers) and David Olfield (ex-Manchester City).

The eight day event will take place on the 5th - 14th June 2009. The teams will join in activities such as cycling through Golden Gate National Park and trekking and climbing in the Drakensburg Mountains of South Africa.

You will have the chance to improve facilities at a local school at Spionkop where a football match will be held involving members of the local community. Finally you will be transported to the beautiful sandy shores of the Indian Ocean for some relaxation which sharks will form the backdrop for a unique dining experience.

To take part in this once in a life time journey all you have to do is raise £2,750 plus a registration fee of £275.

The monies raised from this challenge will benefit Children Today, a charity that provides disabled children and young people with grants to purchase vitally important, specialised equipment to aid their daily living, improve independence and achieve their full potential.

Brian has put his club rivalries aside (until the charity challenge begins) to take part in this highly exhilarating, challenging and enjoyable experience.
