Gaunt Loses His Appeal Again

Last updated : 17 June 2011 By Covsupport News Service

Coventry born radio presenter John Gaunt has lost his appeal regarding a High Court ruling which upheld Ofcom's censure of him in 2009.

Gaunt was sacked by Talksport in 2009 after calling Councillor Michael Stark an "ignorant pig" and "health nazi" brought 53 complaints to Ofcom who then claimed that Mr Gaunt had 'breached its Broadcasting Code with his use of "offensive" language and material'.

Gaunt had already challenged the ruling in the High Court and lost and his appeal today was dismissed by three judges.
