Coventry Market, is your family market, and a right Eastertime festival of art-based activities are on offer right now. Music, art and design is the theme for this year. Maybe you would like to design the official Market Postcard? Well here's your chance. Take a look at the official market postcard stall, and design your own, and your art-work could be the winner and become the official Postcard! Or maybe you want to make a beautiful cake decoration with A Royal Wedding theme, then step right up. Or pick up a postcard print of some iconic images of Coventry Market by by Canadian artist Alice Angus.
National Record Store Day is on 16th April, and Coventry Market can boast 'Midnight' the only record shop in the city, as to be expected, they have a Record Store Day celebration in hand, with some live music. If you like your music it little less rocky, well how about learning piano with composer and pianist Carl Lewis. Or have a bop 'n' jive to one of Coventry's finest bands The Voodoo Kings on Saturday 23rd April, who will be closing the celebrations.

Monday 11th April: Face Painting and launch of design the official market postcard competition.
Tuesday 12th April: Musical recital with international renowned composer and pianist Carl Lewis, accompanied by Kristy.
Wednesday 13th April: Card Making and scrapbooking workshop with Catherine, bring a child’s photograph in to work with you. And Face Painting. Coventry Markets first baby photographic competition in association with studio 77, free entry: pop in Wednesday from 11am-2pm for 2 weeks only.
Thursday 14th April: Make a royal crown decoration with Ceri Davies.
Friday 15th April: Knitting demonstration and knitting for beginners lessons. Floristry and flower art demonstration with Tracie Turnbull.
Saturday 16th April: National record store day, meet local musician Adam Burrows of Satin Doll’s, who will be talking about his latest solo project and playing some of his songs live at Midnight Records. Also playing live at Midnight Records will be The Prospectors and Neil Heath. Royal Wedding Cake decorating will also be going on in the Market.
Monday 18th April: Art Workshop, face painting and royal wedding cake decorating.
Tuesday 19th April: Piano lessons with composer and pianist Carl Lewis, a rare opportunity to pick up tips and guidance form Carl, a leading lecturer and tutor. Musical recital with international renowned composer and pianist Carl Lewis, accompanied by Kristy. Art workshop, drawing and making as well as royal wedding cake decorating.

Saturday 23rd April: Canadian Alice Angus will be talking about her recent project on Coventry Market and giving away signed postcards of the market images. Art workshop, drawing and making as well as royal wedding cake decorating.
