Coventry United Ladies Hit Five At Charlton

Coventry United Ladies won 5-1 at Charlton Athletic this afternoon.

In an FA WPL Southern League fixture at Thamesmead Town, Cov were a goal down in ten minutes but were level with a looping finish from Maz Gauntlett six minutes later.

Alison Hall fired Cov in front in the 31st minute from a Cooper corner and in the second half, Gaunlett finished from inside the area in the 49th minute before completing her hat-trick in the 67th minute.

With four minutes to go, a good win was completed when Alison Hall scored from an Amber Hughes cross.

Coventry United Ladies Reserves came from behind to beat Stoke City 3-1 in a League Cup tie.
