Coventry Rhythm Weekend









Spring Bank Holiday Thursday 27th - Sunday 30th May 2010.

A new music festival is coming to Coventry this Spring Bank Holiday, incorporating and extending the existing remit of Coventry Jazz Festival to include a more varied scope of music. The Coventry Rhythm Weekend will feature: jazz, soul, blues, funk, Latin, Asian and other world music in addition to singer/songwriters.

The four day event will welcome artists from across the globe including, world class guitarist John Etheridge, Rhythm and Blues legend James Hunter, talented composer Surinder Sandhu, sultry singer songwriter Gwyneth Herbert, Blues legend Louisiana Red, Malian sensation Bassekou Kouyate and home-grown favourite Si Hayden to name but a few.
