Rob Simmons is a Senior Lecturer in Economics in the Department of Economics at Lancaster University Management School, UK. His Ph.D is from University of Leeds. Rob's research interests include economics of sports, labour and personnel economics and economics of gambling. Recent journal outlets include Economic Inquiry, International Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Sports Economics and Southern Economic Journal. Rob is also editor of International Journal of Sports Finance. Outside work, Rob is a qualified Football Association referee and long-time supporter of Manchester City FC.
