Coventry United Ladies beat Swindon Town in an FA WPL Southern Division fixture this afternoon.
Cov took the lead when Jade Formaston headed home a Steph Smith cross in the 40th minute and had a second three minutes later when Alison Hall finished off an Amber Hughes cross.
A defensive error gifted the visitors a goal in the 77th minute but Cov kept going and took the victory to stay unbeaten in all competitions so far this season and send them top of the league.
