Alvis Sporting Club are to remain in the Midland Football League Division Two.
The Green Lane based club romped Division Two last season finishing unbeaten. However, they were not accepted for promotion to Division One and subsequently relegated to Division Three.
Alvis' ground grading appeal on Tuesday resulted in the FA upholding the decision that the club's facilities are not suitable for Division 1.
However they did feel that demotion to Division 3 was harsh and therfore instructed the Midland Football League League that Alvis remain in Division 2 for the 2016/17 season.
