Alvis Sporting came from behind to register a comfortable 4-2 victory against Enville Athletic in the Les James Challenge Cup at Green Lane last Saturday.

After conceding an early goal, Alvis equalised 8 minutes before the break when Reece Snape laid the ball to Luke O'Kane who scored with a rasping drive.

In the second half 4 goals in 13 minutes midway through this period, gave Alvis control. First Dildale Linton converted a cross from Dean Kimberlin, and though Enville equalised through poor defending an Adam Layfield penalty, and a close range effort from Reece Snape, emphasised the home sides superiority.

Alvis manager Damian Cassidy said "Enville surprised us at the start, but we came back as the game progressed. In the second half we upped our game with good energy and work rate, and finished strongly to go through to the next round".

Alvis return to League action on Saturday when they travel to Walsall based, Rostance Edwards.
