Last updated : 05 August 2009 By DT
On the 15th and 16th August, Nuneaton Town FC along with 2-Tone @ 30, will host a huge 2-Tone charity event, with some VERY SPECIAL guests.

It begins with a charity celeb football match, with a Coventry City and Nuneaton Borough star XI verses a 2-Tone star XI. There's a pig roast, raffle, stalls, bouncing castle plus the chance of getting your hands on a one day only collectable piece of 2-Tone memorabilia, not to be missed. Theres also a silent auction giving everyone a chance of winning some amazing signed 2-tone and Specials merchandise.

At night the excitement will heat up with live music with Nuneaton ska faves The Tonics, followed by The mighty Allskas - including Gaps and Aitch from The Selecter. There will be more special guests and Rocket Dog FM. The Sunday will also see a 2-Tone trail scooter ride-out.

Organiser Pete Chambers had this to say on the event. "We have had some exciting 2-Tone @ 30 events so far this year, and they just keep getting better and better, this one is going to be something a bit special, with have some great stuff coming up, no 2-Tone ska fan is going to want to miss this. Organisers Dawn Towers and Paul Roberts have put so much work into this and I'm so excited by it all".

The event is in aid of the Tiny Tim's Children's Centre. The centre is based in Coventry and provides free medical treatment to children aged between 0 to 18 years old. These children suffer many different types of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Autism, Epilepsy, Dyspraxia, soft tissue abnormality, Downs syndrome, chromosomal disorders, Asthma, behavioural problems and sensory impairment. Please dig deep and help us to support this well deserving cause.

There is limited free overnight camping available, entrance is only £5 for each event, or £10 for access to the football match and the night concert, but entrance to the evening concert must be pre-booked, but you can pay at the gate for the football match.
