Coventry Sphinx join Coventry City in the second round of the Birmingham Senior Cup after a 2-1 First Round win against AFC Wulfrunians at Sphinx Drive.
Sphinx went down to ten men when Reece Blackmore was sent off for a tackle.
However, they re-grouped and took the lead in the 38th minute when Darren Eggleton scored following a corner.
In the 71st minute, Ryan Harkin got through and thumped home a second and although Jamie King scored with a 78th minute free kick, Sphinx were through thanks to a 2-1 win.
