It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Ted Boscott today following a long illness.
Ted was associated for many years with Coventry Sphinx FC and was secretary and a committee member helping to keep the club going as they embarked on a journey which has taken them out of the Coventry Alliance, into the Midland Combination and now into the Midland Alliance League.
Ted was a highly knowledgable man on all matters football as well as being the sort of chap that you were more than happy to watch a game with or spend time with, he could always be relied on for advice to any new club or fixture secretary.
He was widely respected throughout the Coventry & Warwickshire local football scene and was President Of The Coventry Alliance League.
Ted Boscott will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
