Coventry Sphinx Youth through away a victory tonight with a 2-1 defeat to Walsall Wood in a Midweek Youth League game.
Wayne Whitehouse's side took the lead with a neat finish after three and a half minutes and went on to have a number of of chances including hitting the post before the visitors equalised with a 57th minute penalty conceded by the keeper.
In stoppage time, the ball was given away and Walsall Wood were able to bundle the ball home and leave Sphinx Drive with a 2-1 victory.
