Sphinx Youth Into Northern Division

Coventry Sphinx's Youth Team will play in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Northern Premier Division in the new season.

At the league's Annual General Meeting on Solihull on Monday night, it was announced that eleven teams were resigning from the league but they are to be replaced by fifteen new ones.

There will five divisions for the teams to play - a Northern Premier, Southern Premier, Central, Southern and Western.

Making up the Northern Premier Division are: Boldmere St Michaels, COVENTRY SPHINX, Loughborough Dynamos, Nuneaton Town, Newcastle Town, Romulus, AFC Telford, Walsall Wood, AFC Wufrunians, Coleshill, and Hinckley.

Other local teams have been placed in the Central Division which is made up of the following teams: Atherstone, Banbury, Coventry Copsewood, Nuneaton Griff, Racing Club Warwick, Rugby Town, Southam, Greenhill Tipton, Gornal
Phoenix, Pelsall Villa and Tividale.

The season starts week comm 15th August.
