Coventry Sphinx Youth Team's Midland Floodlit Youth League game against AFC Telford was abandoned in second half stoppage time.
Sphinx were losing 4-0 when a Telford player broke his leg and was taken to hospital.
The game was immediately abandoned by the referee but the result is expected to stand
