Coventry Sphinx beat Quorn in a Midland Football League fixture at Sphinx Drive.
Sphinx took the lead in the ninth minute when they were awarded a freekick some twenty yards out and Ash Jackson stepped up to send the ball high into the net.
In the 56th minute, Sphinx added a second goal when Mitch Piggon lashed the ball home from inside the area to give Sphinx a 2-0 win.
