Coventry Sphinx drew 3-3 tonight with Banbury United in a pre-season game at Sphinx Drive.
A wicketd deflection gave Sphinx the lead in the 21st but in the 61st minute, Banbury were level with a header from a corner.
Seven minutes later, they were in front when a free kick got through. Their lead lasted six minutes as Sphinx drew level with a low drive.
Banbury went up the other end and scored with a neat finish but two minutes from time, a lovely shot deceived the keeper and earned Sphinx, who travel to Studley on Saturday a 3-3 draw.
