Danny McSheffrey's side needed a victory against a Willenhall side who are in the bottom three and were ahead within ten minute thanks to Jamie McAteer.
Both sides then had penalties award. Luke Williams converted his for Sphinx before the interval and seven minutes into the second half, Mitch Fellows reduced the arrears.
Pawel Tomczak made it 3-1 in the 62nd minute and seven minutes from time, Terry Ward wrapped up a good afternoon's work with a fourth goal.
