Sphinx got off to a great start when Josh Ruff put Danny McSheffrey's side ahead in the second minute.
Willenhall, who were relegated from the Unibond League Division 1 South last season, equalised in the 17th minute through Chris Bladen but nine minutes into the second half, Sphinx were back in front through Jack Cudworth.
On the hour mark, Andy Alden levelled for Willenhall to get a share of the points in front of a crowd of 70.
