Coventry Sphinx were beaten 2-1 at home by Rocester.
The Romans have won seven out of their last nine games and they were ahead in the 47th minute through Scott Staniland.
Rob Ritchie-Smith scored directly from a corner for a second goal for the visitors and although Ricky Fletcher pulled a goal back, Sphinx went down to a defeat.
