Coventry Sphinx are launching their own ladies football team.
The Siddeley Avenue based club already provide a home to back to back promotion winning Coventry City Ladies FC, who will be playing in Women's Premier League in the forthcoming season.
Now Sphinx will have their own Ladies team after West Midlands Regional Womens League Division One (South) side Bedworth United have decided to move to Coventry and play in the Sky Blue of Coventry Sphinx.
Glenn Moran of Coventry Sphinx Ladies said: "This is the new era for the Midlands biggest up and coming ladies team and the players and management are looking forward to a very rewarding relationship with their new parent club."
