The Coventry Sphinx FC Golden Ticket Draw will be made at 5.30pm this Saturday 23rd July. This is after the 1st Team pre season game against Chasetown which kicks off at 3.00pm.
Club Secretary, Sharon Taylor said: "The 'Golden Ticket' initiative has been an unbelievable success and has attracted not just large organisations but also small family run businesses. We started attracting sponsors in May and I've still had people contacting me today to get in on the Draw.
"The Golden Ticket initiative was started as we looked to find a more innovative way of attracting a shirt sponsor. Lyntos Wilkinson came up with the idea after speaking to colleagues at other local grassroots football clubs who do similar things.
"We came up with a ticket price of £300 and for that each business or organisation gets a pitchside advertising board, sponsorship of a Home match, player sponsorship, a season long advert in the Matchday programme and of course an opportunity to go into the draw to win the sponsorship of the 1st Team home shirt.
Sharon continued: "After doing some research on our competitors at the same level and below who were asking for more money for just for a pitchside board we knew the Golden Ticket initiative would be an attractive prospect.
"We would like to thank each and every one of you who have bought into this. It's a great help and will go a long way to helping the club develop this season".
