Coventry Sphinx were beaten 2-1 at Kirby Muxloe in a Midland Alliance fixture this afternoon.

Kelvin Phillips scored for Sphinx in the second half.

Sphinx are back in Leicester on Tuesday night when they travel to Friar Lane & Epworth for a re-arranged Midland Alliance fixture.
