Coventry Sphinx came back to stay unbeaten at home in their Midland Alliance League fixtures with a 3-2 victory over Rocester.
The Staffordshire side were ahead on fifteen minutes but Michael Martin levelled on 28 minutes.
With Jerome Murdock having joined Bedworth United, Danny McSheffrey fielded former Coventry City striker Iyseden Christie and in the 55th minute, Christie who recently left AFC Telford fired Sphinx ahead.
Rocester equalised in the 73rd minute with a penalty. However, substitute Kelvin Phillips scored with his first touch four minutes from time to give Sphinx all three points.
Tuesday night's Birmingham Senior Cup game against Nuneaton Town has been postponed as Nuneaton have an FA Trophy Replay.
