Coventry Sphinx could not stop Hereford from winning the MFL Premier Division as they went down to a 4-0 defeat.
A record crowd for a league game in Sphinx's MFA/MFL history meant that Sphinx Drive was sold out for a game which a victory for Hereford would give them the MFL Premier Division title.
Lewis Rankin had a couple of early chances before Hereford took the lead with a Pablo Heysham header in the 21st minute..
In the 54th minute, Hereford had a second thanks to a powerful drive from Joe Tumelty and with nine minutes left, they had a third though Symons and two minutes later they had a fourth from Grant to take the league title.
