Coventry Sphinx beat Continental Star 3-1 in a Midland Football League Premier Division Fixture this afternoon at Sphinx Drive.
Luke Hopkins side were ahead in the fifth minute thanks to Ashley Wilks but Continental Star, who had to replace their keeper with an outfield player, drew level early in the second half.
Sphinx came back back with on loan David Blenkinsopp scoring his first goal for the Sphinx and Luke Downes wrapped up the win with a third.
