Panjab Beaten In Conifa World Cup Final

Panjab FA who have Coventry Sphinx keeper Ash Malhotra on the bench, were beaten in the CONIFA World Cup Final last night.

At the Dinamo Stadium in Sukhum on Sunday, Amar Purewal gave Panaba an 89th minute lead against the hosts Abkhazia.

However, Ruslan Shoniya equalised to send the match to penalties. 

Panjab led 3-1 in the spot kicks but were eventually beaten 6-5 and Ash Malhotra had to settle for runners up medals after a super run to the final.
