Coventry Sphinx manager Paul Charnley is hoping to bring in a new face ahead of Sphinx's Midland Alliance game with Biddulph Victoria tomorrow.

The Sphinx Drive based team have been hit by injuries and suspensions to influential players like James Halton and striker Jerome Murdock in recent matches.

"It's disappointing several senior players are missing but we must crack on with developing the squad," said Charnley to the CT this week.

Jamie McAteer is expected to return to the side beat last week by a late goal at Stone Dominoes in the FA Vase.

The game kicks off at 3pm.

Coventry Sphinx Reserves are also in action. Danny McSheffrey's side travel to Oadby Town looking to book a place in the Challenge Bowl Quarter-Finals.
