Murdock, in his first game back from suspension, played for Danny McSheffrey's side in a 3-2 win over Walsall Wood at Sphinx Drive and scored all three Sphinx goals.
Sphinx are now mid-table in the Midland Combination Reserve Division whilst the defeat keeps Walsall at the bottom of the table.
