Craig Herbert has said that he is looking forward to the new season with Coventry Sphinx FC.
The former professional, who made over 250 appearances for Rugby Town told the Sphinx website: 'I'm really looking forward to the new season, normally you would want a little break, but the way things have come about.
"I'm learning more about the club each week. I went and observed the last few games, Luke and Dutts really try to get the boys playing football which is good in my eyes and that’s a massive part of why I want to be here.
"Also with the work to ground going ahead it looks smart and you can see the club itself is trying to move forward. hopefully we can get a few lads in added to what it is already there, strength in the right areas and we will give it a good go.
"Looking forward to working with Luke & Dutts, they are real passionate about what they do and in my eyes go about it the right way."
