Coventry Sphinx manager Stuart Dutton has described his four latest signings as a great bit of business.

Dutton told the Sphinx club website: 'Its a great bit of business getting these lads in. Not having the biggest budget in the world I am having to convince these lads to come along and believe in the ethos of the club.

"To particulary get Scotty and Ryan in is a major plus Scott must of played over 200 games for Barwell so his know how and footballing brain will be vital to us this season. Ryan is another great signing very comfortable on the ball always seems to find space and has a eye for a goal.

"Webby had a good season for Atherstone last year and he feels as though he needs to test himself at the next level. Liam by his own admission has not played to the best of his ability over the last couple of seasons but his full of confidence he's a big old unit and has been popping goals in during pre season so its up to him to prove to himself and us that he's going to be the main man this season.

"Jack has signed on he's still at Uni in Sheffield but will be available to us if needed.

"Still talking to one or two and I expect when the merry go round stops that a few more will become available. We have just got to be patient and progress from there we have virtually a new squad of players that will take time to gel to all , but according to the footballing experts out there we are already relegated but lets just wait and see and prove the doubters wrong'
