Sphinx trailed but Jerome Murdock equalised on 32 minutes and then put Danny McSheffrey's side ahead in the 65th minute.
Folly Lane equalised before the end of the game which gave McSheffrey the chance to have a look at his squad players.
Sphinx are next in friendly action at Southam United on Tuesday night.
