Coventry Sphinx Chairman Dannie Cahill has admitted his delight at appointing Stuart Dutton to be the club's new manager following the resignation of Robbie Banks.
Cahill told the Sphinx website: "We wanted to appoint someone who was local to the area had good connections and a desire to succeed.
"We arranged a quick meeting and Dutts name was the first to come up so rather than advertise we arranged to meet Dutts.
"His passion for the game and the club was second to none. He has great ideas on how we can push forward his contacts are immense, he knows what the club is all about having been here before.
"We feel we have made the right decision and look forward to an exciting season ahead'
