Coventry Sphinx won 2-0 at Shifnal Town in a Midland Alliance fixture this afternoon.
Adam Kinder put Danny McSheffrey's side ahead in the 17th minute with Kelvin Phillips adding the second eight minutes later from a Callum Woodward corner.
Sphinx are at home at Barwell in a League Cup tie on Tuesday night.
