Coventry Sphinx travel to Biddulph Victoria on Saturday looking for their first Midland Alliance away win of the season.

At home, Danny McSheffrey's side have a perfect record but on their league travels, it has been a different matter with four defeats in four away matches.

Sphinx, who had a first team versus reserve team friendly which finished in a 2-2 draw on Tuesday night, are close to being able to name a full strength squadand a couple of new faces who appeared in that game along with those who played in last Saturday's 3-2 victory against Rocester could be in consideration for the squad which travels to Staffordshire.

There is a coach running to Biddulph from Sphinx Drive which leaves at 12 noon and costs £5 for spectators.

Last night, Coventry Sphinx Youth were beaten 5-1 at home by Kidderminster Harriers in a Midland Floodlit Youth League Premier Division fixture. Robertson scored the Sphinx goal with a curler high into the net in the third minute.
