Away FA Youth Cup Draw For Sphinx Youth

Coventry Sphinx's Youth Team have been drawn away in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round.

Wayne Whitehouse's side, who will play their league football in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Northern Premier Division, will travel to Malvern Town on week beginning September 5th.

Other local Preliminary Round ties see Coventry Copsewood at home to Walsall Wood, Rugby Town travelling to Romulus, Nuneaton Griff travelling to Eccleshall, Atherstone travelling to Stone Dominoes and Nuneaton Town travelling to Ellesmere Rangers.

If Sphinx win their game, they get a First Round Proper trip to Stourport Swifts or Gornal Athletic.

Other local First Round ties see Wolverhampton SC or Kidsgrove V Racing Club Warwick, Kidderminster V Eccleshall/Nuneaton Griff, Romulus/Rugby Town V Bromyard Town, Stourbridge V Stratford, Coventry Copsewood/ Walsall Wood V Tamworth, Stone Dominoes/ Atherstone V Bedworth United, Ellesmere/Nuneaton Town V Chasetown or Newcastle Town.

Ties to be played week commencing Monday September 19th.

In the second round, the winner of the Malvern V Coventry Sphinx or Stourport or Gornal will be at home to Lye Town/ Pegasus Town or Leek Town

Wolverhampton SC/ KIdsgrove or Racing Club Warwick will be at home to Redditch United/ AFC Telford United or Halesowen Town.

Romulus/Rugby Town or Bromyard Town will be at home to Ellesmere/Nuneaton Town/ Chasetown or Newcastle Town.

Stourbridge or Stratford Town will be at home to Hednesford/ Wolverhampton Casuals or Boldmere St Michaels.

Coventry Copsewood/ Walsall Wood or Tamworth will be away to Solihull Moors or Highgate United.

Kidderminster/ Eccleshall/ Nuneaton Griff will be at home to Stone Dominoes/ Atherstone or Bedworth United.

Ties to be played week commencing Monday October 3rd.
