Rioch Hoping For Big City Support

Coventry City Academy boss Gregor Rioch is hoping for a big support when City's Youth team take on Leicester City in the FA Youth Cup Third Round at the Ricoh Arena on Wednesday December 2nd.

Rioch watched his side fall to a 25th minute Abdulal Bell-Baggie goal at Reading on Saturday and hopes City will fair much better in their next match against FA Academy League Group B leaders Leicester which has a 7pm kick offi time.

Speaking to the CT, Rioch said: “We are hoping to have a lot of our more experienced players back for that and the manager has been really supportive in allowing Jordan Clarke and Shaun Jeffers to join us from the first team.

“We would obviously love to see as many supporters there as possible to get behind the lads in a game we are all very much looking forward to.”

Admission prices and stands that will be open are to be announced.
