Jeffers and Eastwood See Off Leicester

Shaun Jeffers scored twice for Coventry City Reserves this afternoon in a 3-1 win at Leicester City.

Lee Carsley took the team which included Clive Platt, Carl Baker, Gary Deegan, Gary McSheffrey and James McPake and they were ahead at the break thanks to a goal from Freddy Eastwood, who was watched by a number of scouts.

Leicester equalised early in the second half through Jeff Schupp before Shaun Jeffers (pictured below) struck curling a left footed shot on the hour mark and two minutes later, sent a right footed shot into the net to give City a 3-1 win.
