Glover: We Did Enough To Win

Coventry City U21's coach Lee Glover felt that his side did enough to beat Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon.

The Sky Blues trailed to a 29th minute Jack Stobbs goal and questions were being asked if Lee Glover, whose side have not won a game since he took over, could get the extra out of his players in the way that Jamie Clapham and Dave Hockaday could.

That question was answered with a much better second half in which the Sky Blues whose side was a lot younger than the Owls, created plenty of chances.

Speaking about this to Keiran Crowley, Lee Glover said:"We did enough to win a game. We created plenty of chances throughout the game and on another day, they go in and we win quite comfortably.

"It's a harsh lesson for the players really as they've only really had one chance and they've put it away, whilst we've had plenty with no reward.

"If I'm being critical, when you create so many chances as a team, you've got to be able to take them but we didn't and they got away with it today."
