Farndon Says Nothing As U23's Beaten

Coventry City U23's Jason Farndon was so annoyed by the performance which saw a very poor City U23's side lose 5-1 at home to Barnsley yesterday that he understandably did not want to speak to the media after the game.

Some of the City support walked out in disgust at an error strewn defeat at the Alan Higgs Centre in which trialist Mwiya Malumo scored for City

Barnsley U23's coach Paul Harsley said to his club's website: “I’m pleased with that today. “You know how it’s been lately with disrupted teams - we had some more trialists in today.

“We had a good chat after the Burnley game the other day and there was a bit more determination about it, which we talked about for finishing off the last two games and they certainly did that today. They took the game to Coventry right from the off.”
