Coventry City U18's coach Jason Farndon was delighted with his side's 1-0 win at Barnsley.
Farndon told Keiran Crowley: "We played really well and I was really happy with the performance.
"We had two Under-16s start today and brought on Tom Bayliss who is also an Under-16, and they all did really well which is encouraging for next year.
"We were on our knees at times as a lot of players had to do a coaching course yesterday as part of their education but they kept going and rose to the task.."
