Eaden: Individual Errors Cost Us

Last updated : 31 January 2017 By CNS Sport

Coventry City U23's coach Nicky Eaden said that individual errors were to blame for City losing 3-0 to Queens Park Rangers yesterday.

Eaden told Billie Marshall: It’s never great to lose by three goals, whether it was a deserved 3-0 game it doesn’t matter. When you go a goal down first minute you are straight away up against it.

“It was mainly individual errors defensively. It was a really poor display in that aspect as we gave them too many chances. With the ball, in between the goals, we weren’t too bad.

“We created chances, nothing majorly clear cut but we certainly built up a little bit of pressure, although the final ball and defensive display that let us down..

"The individual errors, the basic errors that cost us a few goals today. If you do your job, especially defensively you’ll usually get a positive result.”
