Coventry City's Academy has been ranked ranked third in the country out of all category two Academies in a recent statistics highlight.
Out of the all the Football League clubs's City's Academy has been placed in the top five and in the top ten in the whole of the country over the last six years.
This will come to no surprise to those who have seen the Academy at first hand and know about the special pathway to first team football that is on offer as well as the excellent way it is and been run.
City's Academy Boss RIchard Stevens told Laura Hunter: "Over recent years, there aren't many Academies which can match our record of getting players into the first-team and we're immensely proud of being able to give local, talented players a chance in the game.
"I'm a firm believer that all clubs should have local representation in their first-team to embody the passion of its City, and our club has certainly had that.
