City U23's Win At Charlton

Coventry City U23's started 2019 with a 2-1 win away to  Charlton Athletic.

Jason Farndon named a side which saw a debut for Declan Drysdale, who joined City from Tranmere Rovers on Friday for this game at Charlton's training ground at New Eltham.

His side went a goal down in seven minutes when Hackett-Fairchild scored from an Orcan cross.

City were awarded a penalty in the 69th minute when Jack Burroughs was fouled but Maynard-Brewer dived to save it.

A minute later and City had another penalty. This time, Big Dave Bremang took it and scored to get City level.

The game went into stoppage time and in the third minute, Bremang was there to tap home and give City the victory.
