Coventry City U23's are through to the second round of the Birmingham Senior Cup for the first time since they re-entered the competition in 2014.
City, who will have to use the Ricoh Arena if they are drawn at home in the next round, won 3-1 at Midland Football League Premier Division side Alvechurch.
Dion Kelly-Evans fired City ahead in the tenth minute with a terrrific shor on the turn and ten minutes later, Jordan Shipley made it two.
Devon Kelly-Evans set up Jordan Shipley for a third goal in the 52nd minute before the home side pulled a goal back three minutes later through Jamie Spencer.
