Coventry City went out of the Birmingham Senior Cup with a 3-1 penalties defeat at Stratford Town.

This was the fifth time City had played at Statford in a Birmingham Senior Cup tie and the Sky Blues, who won the competition in 2007, fielded a typical U23's side plus Jodi Jones, who was getting more minutes inside him after coming back from an ACL injury.

The first half failed to provide a goal as did the second and it went to penalties.

Dias scored for Stratford, Jak Hickman blasted over, Luckie Cooly made it 2-0 to Stratford with Josh Eccles having his effort saved by Walton.

Oulton fired over but Chris Camwell scored for City as did Cooke. Lewis Green then stepped up for City but had his spot kick saved and City were out for another season.
