Coventry City are out of the Birmingham Senior Cup after a 2-0 loss at Stratford Town.

Coventry City fielded a mix of U23's and U18's but no Ivor Lawton for this Birmingham Senior Cup Round 2 game.

Nicky Eaden's side went behind to a goal in the 29th minute when Edwin Ahenkorah finished off Dan Summerfield's  cross.

Ahenkorah is no stranger to the Sky Blues having scored for Stratford when they beat City 2-1 in this competition in October 2015.

Six minutes into the second half and the Southern League Premier Division side, had a second goal on a foggy evening when substitute Richard Gregory scored with a low drive that beat Addai on his left.

City sent Jordan Ponticelli on but the Sky Blues were unable to do anything and went out of another competition.
